I'm no longer active in developing SANE drivers. Please send any comments or support requests to the sane-devel mailing list.
sane-troubleshoot is a graphical GTK2 application that tries to find out what's wrong with your SANE installation. So if your scanner is not detected (but is supported) you may want to try sane-troubleshoot.
Some more information is in the README.
This is ALPHA software. Quite a lot of features is still missing. Also expect all kinds of bugs.
